Very Sad, Very Stressed...!

Since the $21 billion acquisition of Network
Solutions, Versign has gotten a dying cash-cow. Revenue
has dropped 25 percent in the first six months of 2003.

It will be very interesting to see what the NEXT six months bring. I would guess that we will either see a company name change, or the NSI division gets sold off to ...?


On a completly different note, there is a hosting company that ran an ad in Business 2.0 offering free hosting for 3 years...! So, what the heck! I just signed up and am awaiting the approval process to go through. I will post again about my experiences. If you need to part a site somewhere and would prefer to have a full set of features (and no ads) it's worth a look. Offer expires 12/31/03.
