Best Free Search Engine List - Site updated

www.bfsel.com
We have just updated all the lists on www.best-free-search-engine-list.com. We like to get them out on the first of the month, but a heavy workload and a problem with the database caused the delay.

One site of special note this month, www.Easy-Search.com.au is a new search engine, currently having some growing pains, that has really impressed me. They have free url submission that spiders your site while you wait, very reasonable advertising rates if you are interested in that, an API, and other features. They are very interested in talking with and working with SEOs and webmasters. They recognize the value of good submissions and I hope you will take the couple of minutes it will cost you to visit their site and submit some URLs. We should support them since they are willing to support us.

We are looking for feedback on the lists. We are thinking about dropping most of the foreign lists that do not accept submissions from other countries, except of course the US sites, since we are based in the US. If people want us to keep them they are going to have to help us maintain the data.

A reminder that our lists are great for submitting your site to search engines and directories. The average site will find about 200 places to submit at least. This gives you a lot of listings when you are done, but also a lot of links too, and you don't have to link back. If you DO want to link back, category #6, link required, has about 88 entries that you can also submit your site URL to. Sure, it's a lot of work, but we feel it's really well worth it if you want good traffic.

www.SEOBy.org is starting a membership drive this month. If you have not visited the site in a while, don't bother since it has not been updated. But if you haven't been there before, stop by and see what it's about. Intended as an alternative to SEMPO and other organizations that take your dues and give you little or nothing in return, the Org needs members, because we don't have money. Members get a link to their site and will participate in the long-promised RFP system that may yet come into being.

Aaron Wall (www.seobook.com) is up against a wall of sorts. He is being sued by scum-of-the-earth, nasty bastards at Traffic Power / 1P.com. Search at Google and you will find out the details. Aaron has decided to fight this search-engine-spamming, customer-screwing, fake-forum-posting, scourge and I personally have donated enough money to put a small dent in my virtual wallet to help him. Please note: I never bad-mouth competitors, but these guys are not competitors but scam artists, and give the search industry a bad name when they rip people off as they are reported to have done.
