Hit the link, read the story. This is a lesson about lawyers not using good judgement in my opinion. Perhaps billing was down and they needed some more hours? Or perhaps they forgot to advise their clients about the concept of fair use and satire? Oops, shouldn't they have known about that...?

Rather than having people see something that reminds and not confuses them about their trademarked slogan (Pork, the other white meat), they have attacked when they should have discussed and in doing so placed themselves in the spotlight as a heavy-handed bully.

All companies and lawyers should take note of this story. It's not the first time we've seen this, like with Aaron Wall's case, but the lesson is that even if you are within your rights, the fallout from picking the wrong fight may cost you dearly in negative PR.
