If you get
one of these email messages from Comcast, you may want to consider
this: You can't call them as find out anything specific about what the problem
might be. The tech I talked to said that their system watches the traffic that
goes in and out of your computer and if they see certain things they send you
the warning email. On their site they give you information to help you fix any
possible problems, or they sell you a service.
I like that
they are watching. I don't like that they can't tell you exactly what
triggered the alert so you can decide if you need to do something or not. And I
don't like that this type of vague scary warning funnels you
towards a paid service you may or may not really want or
need.
